Water Lily 'René Gérard'

Nymphaea 'René Gérard' is a exquisite hardy water lily, celebrated for its large, star-shaped flowers that display a captivating blend of colours. The blooms open to reveal a soft pink, maturing to a deeper rose-pink with flecks of yellow and deeper red, often with lovely dark apricot stamens. These chameleon-like flowers, reaching 15-20cm across, offer continuous interest from early summer to early autumn. The attractive green leaves may show some bronzing. This vigorous cultivar is suitable for medium to large ponds, requiring a planting depth of 40-70cm.
