Mimulus 'Orange Glow'

Mimulus ringens 'Orange Glow' is a delightful marsh perennial, offering a vibrant display of striking orange flowers, often with attractive red speckling on the lower lip. The snapdragon-like blooms emerge in profusion from mid-summer through to early autumn, creating a cheerful atmosphere at the pond side. It features square stems clothed with opposite, toothed, dark green leaves. This plant thrives in consistently moist soil or shallow water (up to 5cm deep) at pond margins, streamsides, or bog gardens. It prefers full sun to partial shade, typically reaching a height of 30-60cm with a similar spread. 'Orange Glow' is a magnet for pollinators, adding both colour and wildlife interest to wetland areas. Fully hardy and easy to grow.
