Variegated Lemon Balm 'Variegata'

Variegated Lemon Balm is a particularly attractive form of the classic herb, valued for its bright green leaves splashed and edged with creamy-yellow, alongside its uplifting lemony scent. It forms a bushy clump, typically growing to 60-90cm in height with a similar spread. Small, inconspicuous white or pale pink flowers appear in summer, although the foliage is the main ornamental feature. Like its non-variegated counterpart, it thrives in full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. Hardy to H7, it can self-seed, though the seedlings may revert to green. Excellent for adding colour and fragrance to the herb garden or mixed border.
