Ostrich Fern 'Filis'

Ostrich Fern, also known by its Latin name Matteuccia struthiopteris, is an elegant, deciduous fern forming tight clumps of upright fronds resembling ostrich plumes. It's excellent for providing architectural interest in damp, shady areas of the garden, spreading via runners to create colonies.

Sun: Partial shade.

Soil: Moist, humus-rich soil.

Hardiness: H6 — down to −20°C.
