Apple 'Adams\'s Pearmain' 'Adams\s Pearmain'
A classic Victorian dessert apple that remains a favorite for its distinctive conical shape and nutty, sweet-sharp flavour. The fruit is medium-sized with a beautiful red flush and russet patches. This cultivar is particularly well-suited to the UK climate because it boasts excellent scab resistance and is generally easy to manage. The tree has a moderately vigorous, spreading habit and is an attractive addition to any orchard or garden. It produces delicate pink-flushed white blossoms in late spring, which usually escape the late frosts. Harvesting takes place in October, and the fruits keep exceptionally well, often lasting until March in cool storage. It belongs to pollination group 4. For the best flavour development, grow in a sunny spot in fertile soil. It is a reliable cropper that provides a nostalgic taste of traditional English pomology.
