Crab Apple 'Street Parade'
A vigorous, deciduous tree, 'Street Parade' is grown for its compact, upright, oval habit, making it suitable for urban environments and smaller gardens. It typically reaches 6-8m in height with a spread of 3-4m. In spring, it bursts into bloom with a profusion of white flowers, followed by abundant small, dark red crab apples that persist well into winter, providing food for birds. Hardy to H6, it thrives in full sun and well-drained, fertile soil. Good disease resistance. An excellent ornamental tree offering multi-season interest, including spring blossom, persistent fruit, and a neat form. RHS AGM worthy.
