Goji Berry 'New Big'
Goji Berry 'New Big' is a robust and productive cultivar of this increasingly popular superfood, known for its larger, sweeter berries compared to wild varieties. It yields an abundance of bright orange-red, elongated berries, packed with antioxidants, which can be eaten fresh or dried. This deciduous shrub has an arching, somewhat sprawling habit and can be trained against a support or grown as an informal hedge. It is self-fertile and very hardy, tolerating a wide range of conditions in the UK. Small, purple, bell-shaped flowers appear from June to September, followed by a continuous crop of berries ripening from August until the first frosts. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil.
