Flax 'Blue Dress'
Linum grandiflorum 'Blue Dress' is a delightful annual flax, admired for its delicate, sky-blue, saucer-shaped flowers with a silky texture. These slender plants grow to about 45-60cm tall with a spread of 15-20cm, creating a cloud of airy colour in borders and meadows. They are incredibly easy to grow from direct-sown seed in full sun and well-drained soil, even tolerating poor, sandy conditions. Flowering profusely from early summer to early autumn, they provide a gentle, naturalistic feel. The flowers attract pollinators, and the fine foliage adds a graceful texture to plantings.
