Bay Laurel 'Aureomarginata'
A handsome evergreen shrub or small tree, distinguished by its glossy, dark green, aromatic leaves edged with a striking golden-yellow margin. It can be grown as a specimen, clipped into formal shapes, or used for hedging, reaching 3-5 metres in height and 2-4 metres in spread within UK gardens. Small, inconspicuous yellow flowers appear in spring, followed by black berries on female plants. It prefers full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil, offering both ornamental appeal and culinary leaves.
