Red Hot Poker 'Torch Glow'

Kniphofia 'Torch Glow' is a reliable and vibrant perennial, bringing exotic flair to British gardens. It produces striking spires of tubular flowers that emerge orange-red, gradually fading to a warm yellow as they mature, creating a beautiful two-toned effect. These impressive flower spikes rise above clumps of architectural, grass-like foliage from mid-summer into early autumn, attracting hummingbirds and bees. It typically grows to 90-120cm in height with a spread of 60cm. 'Torch Glow' thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating drought once established. Hardy (H5) and perfect for adding vertical interest to borders, gravel gardens, or prairie-style plantings.
