Juniper 'Mint Julep'
Juniperus x pfitzeriana 'Mint Julep' is a popular and robust spreading juniper cultivar, forming an attractive, arching mound of mint-green foliage. It typically grows to a height of 1-1.5m with a wide spread of 2-3m, making it an excellent choice for ground cover, mass planting on banks, or as a softening element at the edge of borders. The distinctive branching habit gives it a somewhat layered or tiered appearance. It is exceptionally hardy and adaptable, thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, and is highly tolerant of drought and urban pollution once established. 'Mint Julep' provides year-round colour and texture with minimal maintenance, an RHS Award of Garden Merit holder, it's a reliable garden performer.
