Juniper 'Wichita Blue'

Juniperus scopulorum 'Wichita Blue' is a vibrant evergreen conifer, forming a dense, narrowly upright and columnar habit with intensely glaucous, silvery-blue foliage. This makes it an excellent choice for a strong vertical accent, formal planting, or as components of a narrow screen in UK gardens where maximum impact and minimum footprint are desired. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 4-6 metres with a spread of 1-1.5 metres. This robust juniper thrives in full sun and well-drained, even poor, neutral to alkaline soils. It is exceptionally hardy, rated H7 by the RHS, and remarkably tolerant of drought, heat, and urban pollution once established. An RHS AGM holder, providing year-round brilliant blue colour.
