Prostrate Juniper 'Nana'

Juniperus procumbens 'Nana' is a superb dwarf evergreen conifer, forming a dense, prostrate, wide-spreading mat of attractive blue-green, needle-like foliage with sharply pointed tips. This makes it an outstanding choice for ground cover, rock gardens, or cascading over walls in UK gardens, providing year-round texture and colour. It typically reaches an ultimate height of 0.1-0.2 metres with a substantial spread of 1-1.5 metres. This resilient juniper thrives in full sun and well-drained, even poor, neutral to alkaline soils. It is exceptionally hardy, rated H7 by the RHS, and remarkably tolerant of drought and exposed conditions. Its low-growing, weed-suppressing habit makes it a highly valuable and low-maintenance plant.
