Creeping Juniper 'Limeglow'

Juniperus horizontalis 'Limeglow' is a vibrant, low-growing conifer that provides a stunning carpet of colour. In spring and summer, the feathery foliage is a brilliant chartreuse or lime green, which turns to a unique coppery-bronze or orange-gold during the winter months, offering exceptional seasonal interest. It has a spreading, fountain-like habit with branches that radiate from the centre. This cultivar is very hardy (H6) and is an excellent choice for groundcover on banks, in rock gardens, or spilling over the edges of containers. It requires a position in full sun to achieve the best foliage colour and must have well-drained soil to prevent root rot. Once established, it is remarkably drought-tolerant and requires very little maintenance. Its bright hues make it a perfect companion for purple-leaved plants like Heucheras or dark evergreens, providing a sharp and refreshing contrast in the garden landscape.
