Silver Ragwort
A popular evergreen sub-shrub or perennial grown for its striking silvery-white, deeply lobed, felted foliage, which provides excellent contrast in the sunny border. It typically grows to 60-90cm in height and spread. Small, yellow, daisy-like flowers may appear in summer, but are often removed to maintain the foliage display. Ideal for coastal gardens, hot, dry borders, or containers in UK gardens. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating salt and drought. Prune hard in spring to maintain a dense, compact habit.
