St John's Wort 'Hidcote'

Hypericum 'Hidcote' is a semi-evergreen shrub, often grown as a ground cover due to its spreading habit and continuous flowering over a long period. It produces a profusion of large, brilliant golden-yellow, cup-shaped flowers with prominent stamens from early summer until the first frosts. These blooms stand out against the attractive dark green foliage. 'Hidcote' is very hardy and adaptable, thriving in full sun to partial shade and a variety of well-drained soils. Its vibrant colour and extended flowering make it an excellent choice for cheering up borders and banks in UK gardens.
