Oakleaf Hydrangea 'Snowflake'
Hydrangea quercifolia 'Snowflake' is a magnificent deciduous shrub, celebrated for its unique oak-shaped leaves that turn stunning shades of crimson, purple, and orange in autumn, and its impressive double white flowers. The large, conical panicles of pure white florets literally layer on top of each other, creating a 'snowflake' effect, blooming from summer into autumn. It forms a substantial shrub, reaching 1.5-2m in height and spread. H5 hardy, it thrives in partial shade and moist, well-drained, humus-rich, acidic to neutral soil. An RHS AGM holder, it provides year-round interest.
