Climbing Hydrangea
A well-loved self-clinging deciduous climber, prized for its ability to grow on shady walls. It can reach an ultimate height of 10-15m with a spread of 4-8m. Extremely hardy (H5), it features large, flattened lace-cap flowerheads of white in summer. Its woody stems and attractive peeling bark provide winter interest. Thrives in partial to full shade and moist, well-drained, humus-rich soil. An RHS AGM holder, excellent for north or east-facing walls, covering fences, or scrambling up mature trees.
