Himalayan Blue Bamboo 'Eden'

'Eden' is a beautiful and relatively new introduction, a clump-forming bamboo that stands out with its attractive culms, which emerge green and mature to a lovely powdery blue-grey, especially in good light. It has an upright, graceful habit, reaching 3-4m in height and 1.5-2m in spread. This bamboo is hardy in milder parts of the UK (H4) and requires a sheltered position from cold winds. It thrives in partial shade with humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil. 'Eden' makes a stunning specimen plant or an elegant addition to a mixed border, offering subtle colour and evergreen texture. Its non-invasive nature makes it easy to incorporate into garden designs.
