Dame's Rocket 'Lilacina Flore Pleno'

Hesperis matronalis 'Lilacina Flore Pleno' is a beautiful double-flowered cultivar of Dame's Rocket, offering highly fragrant, frothy clusters of lilac-purple blooms in late spring and early summer. Its sweet, clove-like scent is particularly noticeable in the evening, making it ideal for planting near seating areas. This hardy biennial or short-lived perennial thrives in partial shade to full sun and well-drained soil. It readily self-seeds, often producing single-flowered offspring, but the double forms are truly exquisite. It's a superb plant for cottage gardens and informal woodland edges.
