Avens 'Fireball'
Geum chiloense 'Fireball' is a dazzling perennial, living up to its name with a profusion of intense, fiery orange-red, semi-double flowers. These vibrant blooms are held on slender, wiry stems above neat mounds of fresh green foliage, creating a spectacular display from late spring right through summer, often with sporadic reblooming into autumn. It typically reaches 40-60cm in height and spread. 'Fireball' is a fantastic choice for adding zing to borders, cottage gardens, or containers, and is highly attractive to bees. It prefers full sun to partial shade and fertile, moist but well-drained soil. This hardy perennial (H6) is a real garden highlight.
