Herb Robert

A common and often overlooked native wildflower, Geranium robertianum, or Herb Robert, is a surprisingly charming addition to a wilder woodland garden. This annual or biennial forms a loose, spreading plant up to 30-40cm high and wide. Its deeply lobed, often reddish-tinged leaves have a distinctive aroma, and it produces small, delicate pink flowers from spring to autumn. It self-seeds readily and is incredibly adaptable, thriving in partial to full shade and a variety of well-drained soils. H7 hardy, it's excellent for naturalising and attracting pollinators.
