Hardy Fuchsia 'Genii'

Fuchsia 'Genii' is a striking, upright, and exceptionally hardy deciduous fuchsia, ideal for adding long-lasting colour to UK gardens from early summer until the first frosts. Reaching a height and spread of around 1 metre, it features attractive golden-green foliage that beautifully contrasts with its profusion of small, single flowers. The blooms are characterised by bright scarlet sepals and rich purple petals, creating a vibrant display. 'Genii' thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil. It's an excellent choice for borders, containers, or even informal hedging. Being very hardy, it usually re-sprouts vigorously from the base each spring, even after cold winters, making it a reliable performer.
