Umbrella Bamboo 'Fontan'

'Fontan' is a superb clump-forming bamboo, widely recognised and admired for its graceful, weeping habit of slender, arching culms and delicate, dark green leaves. It creates a soft, fountain-like effect, reaching 2.5-3.5m in height and 1.5-2.5m in spread. This bamboo is exceptionally hardy in the UK (H5) and tolerates colder conditions well. It prefers partial shade and consistently moist, well-drained soil. Its non-invasive nature means it is perfect for smaller gardens, containers, or as an elegant screen. The fine texture and gentle movement make it a beautiful addition to a tranquil garden setting.
