Fountain Bamboo 'Luca'

Fargesia murielae 'Luca', affectionately known as Fountain Bamboo 'Luca', is a compact and highly ornamental non-invasive bamboo perfect for smaller UK gardens or container displays. This cultivar is notable for its dwarf, neatly clumping habit, forming dense mounds of slender, arching green culms with delicate, bright green foliage. It typically reaches only 1-1.5 metres in height and spread. 'Luca' is fully hardy (H6) and exceptionally tough, thriving in partial shade and moist, well-drained soil. It's an excellent choice for adding evergreen texture and movement without overwhelming a space. Flowering is very rare. Its charming, compact form makes it versatile for low hedging, underplanting, or as an attractive specimen in a pot.
