Snow Gum
A very hardy medium-sized evergreen tree, highly prized for its beautiful, smooth, peeling bark, which reveals patches of cream, grey, green, and pink, creating an attractive mottled effect, especially in winter. It typically grows 8-15m tall with a spreading, often multi-stemmed habit. The leathery, lance-shaped leaves are grey-green. Exceptionally hardy for a Eucalyptus (H5), it thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating exposure and poorer conditions. A superb specimen tree for year-round architectural interest and its distinctive bark.
