Fairy Foxglove 'Dr H. W. Wippermann'

Erinus alpinus 'Dr H. W. Wippermann' is a charming, diminutive perennial perfect for rocky crevices or the front of a dry, woodland border. Forming small rosettes of hairy leaves, it produces abundant clusters of vibrant purplish-pink flowers from late spring into summer. It typically reaches 10-15cm in height and spread, and its compact nature makes it ideal for naturalising in tight spots. H5 hardy, it thrives in partial shade and well-drained, gritty or stony soil. Ensure good drainage, especially in winter. A delightful, cheerful plant for a subtly wilder area.
