Tree Heath 'George Rendall'

Erica arborea 'George Rendall' is a magnificent and vigorous evergreen tree heath that brings an impressive display of texture and early spring colour to the UK garden. It forms a large, upright shrub or small tree with finely textured, dark green, needle-like foliage, giving it a fluffy appearance. In early spring, it becomes covered in a profusion of small, fragrant white, bell-shaped flowers, attracting bees. This plant is excellent as a specimen plant or at the back of a border, providing considerable architectural interest. It thrives in acidic, well-drained soil in a sunny, sheltered spot.
