Coneflower 'Cherry Brandy'
A vibrant and relatively compact coneflower, 'Cherry Brandy' is a fantastic choice for adding a splash of rich colour to borders and cottage gardens. It forms an upright clump of sturdy stems, reaching up to 60cm in height and 45cm in spread. From mid-summer through to early autumn, it produces abundant, cherry-red, daisy-like flowers with prominent dark cones, attracting bees and butterflies. This RHS AGM cultivar thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating some drought once established. It's fully hardy in most of the UK, rated H5, and makes an excellent cut flower. Its long flowering period and striking colour make it a real garden favourite.
