Himalayan Weeping Bamboo

This elegant clump-forming bamboo is admired for its very slender, arching culms and delicate, narrow leaves, creating a soft, weeping effect. It typically grows to 2-3m in height with a similar spread. While generally hardy in milder parts of the UK (H3-H4), it benefits from a sheltered position, especially from cold, drying winds. It thrives in partial shade and consistently moist, humus-rich, well-drained soil. 'Himalayan Weeping Bamboo' makes a graceful specimen plant, a delicate screen, or an effective underplanting for larger trees, adding a touch of exotic elegance with its fine texture and gentle movement.
