African Daisy

African Daisies are vibrant annuals that bring a cheerful splash of colour to UK gardens, reminiscent of sunnier climes. These half-hardy plants produce an abundance of daisy-like flowers with glossy petals, often in bright whites, yellows, oranges, and even pinks, frequently with contrasting central discs. They are typically grown as annuals, sown directly outdoors after the last frost or started indoors. Thriving in full sun and well-drained soil, they bloom profusely from early summer until the first frosts. They are excellent for mass planting in borders, rock gardens, and containers, providing long-lasting, low-maintenance colour.
