Dahlia 'Mick's Peppermint' 'Micks Peppermint'

A fun and eye-catching Large Decorative Dahlia that is sure to be a conversation starter in any UK garden. Its flowers are creamy-white, heavily splashed and streaked with vibrant magenta-pink, reminiscent of peppermint sweets. No two flowers are exactly alike, providing constant variety. This cultivar is quite vigorous and can reach heights of 120-150cm, making it an excellent choice for the back of a large border. Because of the size of the blooms and the height of the plant, sturdy staking is essential in the UK to protect it from summer storms. Plant the tubers in late May when the soil has warmed up. In autumn, once the foliage has been blackened by the first frost, the tubers should be carefully lifted, cleaned, and stored in a cool, dry place. It is a fantastic choice for children's gardens or for anyone who enjoys bold, playful patterns in their floral displays.
