Dahlia 'Happy Single Juliet'

An exquisite single-flowered dahlia part of the popular 'Happy Single' series, specifically bred for its striking dark, near-black foliage which provides a dramatic backdrop to its blooms. 'Happy Single Juliet' features elegant, single lilac-pink flowers with a distinct dark central disk surrounded by a ring of yellow pollen. This cultivar is highly attractive to bees and butterflies, making it an excellent choice for a pollinator-friendly UK garden. It typically reaches a height of 60cm with a compact, bushy habit, making it suitable for the front of borders or large patio containers. Like most dahlias, it requires a sunny, sheltered spot in fertile, well-drained soil. In the UK, the tubers should be lifted after the first frosts in autumn and stored in a frost-free environment over winter, or heavily mulched in milder southern coastal regions. It flowers prolifically from mid-summer until the first hard frosts of autumn.
