Hardy Cyclamen 'Album'

Cyclamen hederifolium 'Album' is a vigorous, tuberous perennial known for its elegant, pure white flowers that appear in autumn before the leaves unfurl. The heart-shaped, dark green leaves are beautifully marbled with silver and persist through winter, providing excellent ground cover. This hardy cyclamen typically reaches 10-15cm in height and spread. It thrives in partial to full shade, making it ideal for planting under deciduous trees and shrubs, where it enjoys dry conditions in summer and moist, well-drained soil in autumn and winter. It's a fantastic plant for naturalising in woodland gardens, rockeries, and containers. The flowers are a valuable nectar source for late-season pollinators, and the seeds are distributed by ants, leading to charming self-sown colonies over time. 'Album' is a popular and reliable cultivar, celebrated for its pristine white blooms.
