Cyclamen 'Silverleaf'

Cyclamen coum 'Silverleaf' is a highly attractive cultivar of the winter-flowering cyclamen, distinguished by its stunning, almost entirely silvery leaves, which provide exceptional ornamental value even before the flowers appear. Delicate, typically pink to magenta or white, nodding flowers emerge from late winter to early spring, adding a splash of colour when little else is in bloom. This tuberous perennial usually reaches a height and spread of 10-15cm. It thrives in partial to full shade and prefers moist, well-drained soil, rich in leaf mould. 'Silverleaf' is perfect for naturalising in woodland gardens, under deciduous trees, and in rock gardens. The flowers are a valuable early nectar source for active pollinators. This cultivar is particularly prized for its striking foliage, adding elegance and brightness to shady, winter gardens, and is fully hardy in the UK.
