Hardy Cyclamen
Cyclamen coum is a delightful and hardy little cyclamen, celebrated for its cheerful, upward-facing flowers that bring essential colour to the depths of winter and early spring. The blooms, ranging from delicate white to various shades of pink and magenta, feature charming reflexed petals and often emerge above stunning, rounded, dark green leaves that are frequently patterned with intricate silver marbling. Ideal for naturalising under deciduous trees and shrubs, in rockeries, or at the front of shaded borders, it thrives in well-drained soil enriched with leaf mould, in partial to full shade. This resilient plant offers continuous interest through the colder months and will slowly naturalise, creating beautiful carpets of colour and foliage. It is distinct from Cyclamen hederifolium.
