Italian Cypress 'Pyramidalis'

A classic, slender, evergreen conifer with a strikingly narrow, columnar habit, creating a strong vertical accent. It can reach an impressive height of 10-15 metres high but only 1-1.5 metres wide in UK gardens. It features dense, dark green, scale-like foliage held on erect branches. Ideal for formal planting, avenues, or as a dramatic specimen in sheltered, sunny positions. Requires full sun and well-drained soil. While hardy, young plants may need protection in very cold winters or exposed sites. Provides a quintessential Mediterranean feel.

Sun: Full sun.

Soil: Well-drained.

Hardiness: H4 — down to −10°C.
