Smokebush 'Young Lady'

Cotinus coggygria 'Young Lady' is a truly exceptional deciduous shrub, prized for its abundant, airy plumes of smoky-pink flowers that create a hazy effect from mid-summer into early autumn. Unlike other smokebushes, 'Young Lady' flowers profusely even as a young plant. Reaching a height and spread of 3 metres, it forms a large, rounded bush with attractive green foliage that often takes on hues of orange and red in autumn. It's a superb specimen plant or an excellent addition to a mixed border in the UK. It thrives in full sun for the best flowering and autumn colour, preferring well-drained soil, and is remarkably drought-tolerant once established. Fully hardy.
