Tickseed 'Red Shift'
Coreopsis verticillata 'Red Shift' is a dynamic perennial offering a changing display of colour. Its charming, daisy-like flowers emerge yellow with a red eye in summer, gradually shifting to a deeper ruby red as the season progresses and temperatures cool. It forms a neat, bushy mound, typically reaching 60cm tall and wide. This cultivar is brilliant for extending garden interest from summer into autumn, attracting a host of pollinators. 'Red Shift' performs best in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating drier conditions once established. It's a hardy and dependable plant (H6), excellent for mixed borders, rock gardens, or containers.
