Mexican Orange Blossom 'White Dazzler'
Choisya × dewitteana 'White Dazzler' is a superb, award-winning evergreen shrub that is becoming increasingly popular for low to medium hedging in UK gardens. It is characterised by its finely divided, aromatic, dark green leaves which form a dense, rounded mound. The plant is particularly prized for its prolific flowering habit; it produces a spectacular mass of star-shaped, sweetly scented white flowers in late spring, and frequently offers a second flush of blooms in late summer or autumn. The fragrance is reminiscent of orange blossom, adding a sensory dimension to the garden. This cultivar is more compact and floriferous than many other Choisya varieties. It thrives in well-drained soil in a sheltered position, as cold winds can occasionally damage the foliage in harsh winters. It is an excellent choice for a sensory hedge or near a patio where the fragrance can be enjoyed. Minimal pruning is required to maintain its neat shape.

Soil: Well-drained loam or sand.
