Dwarf Sawara Cypress 'Filifera Nana'

Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Filifera Nana' is a delightful dwarf evergreen conifer, forming a dense, mounded or broadly conical shape with fine, thread-like sprays of bright green foliage that weep gently. This creates a soft, textural mound, making it an excellent choice for rock gardens, containers, or the front of borders in UK gardens. It is a slow-growing cultivar, typically reaching an ultimate height of 0.6-1 metre with a similar spread. Its delicate texture provides year-round interest. This conifer thrives in full sun to partial shade and prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soils. It is fully hardy, rated H7 by the RHS. An RHS AGM holder, it offers a refined, understated beauty and requires minimal maintenance.
