Swane's Golden Golden Hinoki Cypress 'Swanes Golden'

Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Swane's Golden' is a beautiful upright, broadly conical conifer with dense, rich golden-yellow foliage that holds its colour well, especially in full sun. This medium-sized Hinoki Cypress cultivar typically reaches 3-5 metres in height and 1.5-2.5 metres in spread, making it suitable for medium-sized gardens as a specimen plant or for adding strong vertical interest. It prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained soil (H6). The vibrant golden colour provides year-round brightness and a refined elegance to the landscape. A low-maintenance plant that adds architectural structure and a touch of warmth.
