Fernspray Hinoki Cypress 'Fernspray Gold'

A highly ornamental conifer, distinguished by its unique, fern-like, golden-yellow foliage arranged in arching sprays. It forms an upright, broadly conical shrub or small tree, typically reaching an ultimate height of 3-5 metres with a spread of 2-3 metres. The texture of the foliage is particularly striking, adding a delicate, feathery quality to the garden. It prefers moist, well-drained, acidic soil and thrives in full sun to partial shade, where its golden colour is most vibrant. Hardy to H6, it is an excellent specimen plant, providing year-round architectural interest and a warm glow to borders.
