Golden Hinoki Cypress 'Crippsii'

A beautiful golden cultivar of Hinoki Cypress, forming a dense, broadly conical shape with rich, golden-yellow, shell-shaped sprays of foliage. The colour is most vibrant in full sun and provides excellent year-round brightness. Slow-growing, reaching an ultimate height of 2-3 metres and a spread of 1.5-2.5 metres. A superb specimen shrub or small tree for adding cheerful constant colour and fine texture. Prefers full sun to partial shade and moist, well-drained, acidic soil. An RHS AGM winner.
