Japanese Plum Yew 'Korean Gold'

Cephalotaxus harringtonia 'Korean Gold' is a striking cultivar of the Japanese Plum Yew, valued for its upright, vase-shaped to broad-spreading habit and beautiful golden-yellow new growth that matures to a bright chartreuse. This slow-growing conifer typically reaches 2-3 metres in height and 1.5-2 metres in spread. It is notably tolerant of shade and wet conditions, thriving in partial to full shade and moist, well-drained soil (H5). Its yew-like needles are soft to the touch. The bright foliage provides year-round colour, brightening up shady areas of the garden. An excellent choice for woodland gardens or those challenging shady spots.
