Kapoktree

Ceiba pentandra, the Kapok tree, is a majestic tropical tree not suited for outdoor cultivation in the UK due to its size and temperature requirements. It is a large deciduous tree with a straight, spiny trunk and a broad, spreading crown. In its native tropical regions, it produces large seed pods filled with a cotton-like fibre.
