Canterbury Bells 'Rose'

Campanula medium 'Rose' is a classic biennial, bringing old-fashioned charm to traditional UK cottage gardens. Forming a basal rosette of leaves in its first year, it sends up impressive spikes in its second, reaching about 60-90cm tall. These spikes are laden with large, bell-shaped, rosy-pink flowers, which can be single or double, appearing from late spring through mid-summer. The blooms create a wonderful display and are excellent for cutting. This cultivar is fully hardy (H6) and prefers a fertile, moist but well-drained, neutral to alkaline soil in full sun to partial shade. Protect young plants from slugs and snails. A delightful choice for borders and cut flower gardens.
