Shrubby evening primrose

Shrubby evening primrose (Calylophus serrulatus) is a delightful, low-growing perennial native to North America, forming a neat mound of fine, green foliage. In summer, it produces abundant, bright yellow, cup-shaped flowers that open in the evening and close by midday, adding a burst of colour to rockeries, borders, or as ground cover. Its drought tolerance and cheerful blooms make it a charming addition to drier garden spots.
