Flowering Rush 'Rosea'
Flowering Rush 'Rosea' is a beautiful variation of the native Butomus umbellatus, distinguished by its delicate pink-tinged flowers. It features slender, rush-like foliage that rises elegantly from the water, topped by elegant umbels of small, three-petalled, rose-pink flowers in summer. This architectural plant adds vertical interest to pond margins and looks particularly attractive when planted in groups. It prefers shallow water or very moist soil at the pond edge, thriving in full sun. 'Rosea' offers a softer, more romantic hue compared to the typical species, enhancing waterside planting schemes.
