Pak Choi 'White Stem'

'White Stem' pak choi is a popular and fast-growing Asian leafy green, forming upright rosettes of crisp, white stems and tender, dark green leaves. It offers a mild, slightly mustardy flavour, delicious both raw and cooked. This compact vegetable typically grows to 20-30cm tall and 15-20cm wide, making it suitable for smaller gardens or containers. It is an H2 hardy plant, usually grown as an annual in the UK. 'White Stem' thrives in full sun to partial shade and fertile, moist, well-drained soil. It's quick to mature, often ready for harvest in 30-45 days, allowing for multiple sowings per season. Keep well-watered to prevent bolting, especially in hot weather. Attracts minor pests but generally easy to grow.
